"Unable to recover windows 10 on EVO 850 SSD", I purchased a Del Insipiron 15-7559 about 6 months ago which came with a 1 TB HD. I immediately installed a Samsung SSD EVO 850 as my primary drive with the OS (windows 10) installed on it and moved the original HD to be my secondary drive. Everything was working great up until last night when I noticed that my laptop was moving at a snail's pace. So, after multiple restarts, virus scans in safe mode I still couldn't get the laptop working like normal. So, I decided I'd create a recovery USB drive and then reinstall windows on the SSD hoping that would fix things. I went through the motions and started the recovery from USB only to have it fail with a message the the recovery failed at about 65% completion. Tried it a few more times and started getting the clear TPM message. Now I can't reboot to Windows or complete the recovery. Also, I can see the USB drive as an option to boot from but once I start the recovery from drive I'm now getting a "unable to reset your PC. The system drive cannot be found" message. I have no clue what to do now. Does it sound like the SSD is fired? Any possibility that the USB driver are now gone so the recovery cannot process? I don't have a Dell factory image handy so I can't even recover using that. Is it possible to recovery from the original HD without losing my files?
