Internal SATA Seagate 2TB Harddrive not recognised in BIOS: I am fairly new to the PC stuff and have recently build myself a gaming PC. I wanted to add an additional HDD to my setup for extra storage and to back up data. My issue is that I have plugged in the new Seagate 2TB harddrive and my PC will not recognise it anywhere. PC Spec; Gigabyte GA-X99-ULTRA GAMING motherboard i7-6800k Gigabyte GTX 1080ti Aorus Xtream Trident z 32GB RAM 256 SSD Pro w/ Windows 10 Pro I have looked in the BIOS (Updated to F5) and all SATA ports seem to be activated. I have tried switching SATA cables but still nothing. HDD spins when only power cable plugged in. Please can someone advise anything else I can try before I return this? Would it be worth trying it in a friends PC to see if it works/they can format it?
