Seagate Backup Plus Slim 1TB not recognised by the computer beeping sound blinking light: I am facing a problem with my seagate backup plus slim 1TB ext hard disk. Im having to get my computer to recognize my external harddrive that just decided to fail while using it. now when I plug the drive into the USB it makes a quiet fast paced beeping sound like its trying to load then after about 30seconds the white light comes on and starts to blink but nothing is recognized. I have tried to get it to work on both Linux and the other Windows 8 with the same results. I have also tried some of Seagates backup tools (and a couple others) but it doesnt even recognize the drive at all. I have also followed Seagates 'solution' they list for when the light is blinking which doesnt work. I have also tried using an usb hub for more power supply but it didnt work. Im really afraid the drive is dead and thousands of hours of movies and tv series have been lost among other important files.
