Seagate 1TB HDD not detected in BIOS or Disk Management:I have been using a Seagate Barracuda 1TB SATAIII 6.0GBps HDD (ST1000DM003) for 2 years; it's been working fine up until this morning. This was only used as a storage drive (no OS installed). My primary drive is a Samsung EVO 250GB SSD(Windows 7 64-bit Home Premium). When I started up my PC today, the HDD partitions were not there in "My Computer"; they were absent from Disk Management too.I restarted my computer in hope to correct it from BIOS, but, alas! the HDD was not getting detected from BIOS also.My mobo (Asrock Z77 Extreme4 is sghowing error code A2). I've tried changing the cables and switching the ports the drive plugs into, but the BIOS will not detect the drive at all. However I can hear the drive spinning fine, no clicking sound. There was almost 650GB data in it - Photos, Office Notes, TV Series, Music, Movies etc; Though the HDD is under warranty, sending it for RMA will only get me a new drive, but my main directive is to recover the data.
