"Reinstalling OS Steam games on secondary drive ", my OS and Steam installations are on the same hard drive with my Steam games installed on a separate 3TB internal drive that I bought just for games. Tomorrow I should be getting a new SSD that I will be doing a fresh install of my OS on. My question is this: If I install a fresh copy of my OS and the Steam client onto the SSD, will Steam be able to see all the installed games on my secondary drive without having to redownload/reinstall them all? I'd like to avoid having to reinstall them again as I have quite a large number of games in my library, totalling 1.07TB. I know I can set Steam up so that it looks for the game files on the correct drive, I'm just wondering if they would need to actually be installed again seeing as I'm assuming the OS won't "recognise" them as being installed - and if so, is there an easy way of doing so or would it literally be a case of going through them all one by one?
