"my computer won't boot up after a BIOS update ", I am an avid computer user, with an immense knowledge for computer problems, but this is just ridiculous... I had needed to restart me laptop, like usual, for a manufacturer's update. So I did, thinking that is was going to be quick, and it was, but then... after the update to my BIOS, my computer became unbootable. I can turn it on, hear the hard drive turn on, but no read... the computer's screen would light up, but no color, no booting animation, nothing. Not only do my classes revolve around using such a computer, but I also have music software and other data on there that is vital to me, that would be a real pain in the neck to get back. I would very much appreciate it if there was some help to my issue... I would only assume that listing the specs of the computer would be helpful... but I can only list them to a degree... here they are: HP 15-g029wm w/ windows8(.1R?)... and that's it... that is all I could find... I really hope that there is something other than taking the HDD out to fix the issue... thanks in advance.
