I never dropped this hard drive. On windows 7 when I plug in the external drive it doesnt show up in my computer however it shows up in disk management. I am not able to assign a drive letter. It allows me to delete volume but I DO NOT want to do this, I have my life time of artwork, photos and other files in here. I tried plugging the drive into different computers , i tried using different usbs , i plugged the usb behind pc as well. The drive makes a spinning noise or something when its plugged in.
