"Can't boot CD/DVD or USB flash drive after Windows 10 installation ", I have SAMSUNG RV520 laptop. I installed Windows 10 as trial (Using USB stick). Then I decided that I don't want it and since then I have multiple times tried to reinstall but without any luck. FIrst off all I can't boot in any way. Things I have tried or I know at this momment: 1) When I insert Win 7 installation disc in PC, it reads and there is no problem with DVD reader or disc. 2) I have bootable DVD with Win7 instalation that I have checked to another PC and then everything worked ( DVD booted and installation process started). 3) I have set up DVD as first choice for boot order. 4) My BIOS doesn't offer to select Secure boot or Legacy boot. 5) In BIOS SysInfo there is information that CD/DVD is recognized in SATA Port 2. 6) In BIOS advanced options I can select : - Legacy USB Support (Enabled) - UEFI Boot Support (Enabled) - AHCI Mode Control (AUTO) 7) When installation disc is inserted and I restart PC. Right before BIOS loads I press ESC and I manage BOOT select menu to show up. There is just two options DVD/CD or HDD. I select DVD by pressing "enter". Few seconds passes and Windows 10 starts. There wasn't any "Press any key to boot .." messagge and I tried to press "any key " and still it didn't work. Also I have tried the same with USB stick- choose as first priority and so on.. but the same problem. I have run out of options. This could be some Win10 trick that interferes with BIOS and prevents from boot as I want ?
