"Can't install Windows 10 64bit on GPT formatted drive, but Linux Mint CAN", I got a 3tb drive, formatted it to GPT and reserved a 50 gb partition for Windows 10 64bit. I tried installing, but it tells me the drive is of the GPT partition and windows can't install. The motherboard is UEFI, Windows is 64bit, HDD is GPT, I can't find any other reason why Windows won't install. I tried installing Linux Mint and there were no problems, so what's happening with Windows? Is there some sort of additional condition I need to fulfill for Windows to install? I did read that Windows needs to make 2 additional partitions (ESP and MSR), but it flat out won't allow me to do that in the 50 gb partition.
