External Hard Drive Not Formatted Error fix to recover data?
Q:
External Hard Drive Not Formatted Error fix to recover data?
I have a Seagate 1TB External Hard Drive, Recently, I can not access it. When I turn it on, Windows 7 assigns it a letter and I can see it under My Computer like normal, but then when I click on it, it says the drive is not formatted and asks me "do you want to format it". I assume reformating the External Hard Drive would erase all of the data I have on it so I didn't do it. I tried plugging it into a different usb port and i tried plugging it into another computer, which is a Lenovo laptop with Window 10, and it still didn't work.
