"boot device not found please install an operating system on your hard disk 3f0 ", I have a Windows 8 HP Pavilion G6-2399sa , which sudenly started to say "boot device not found please install an operating system on your hard disk 3f0". I did the hard drive checks and the hard drive passed, i also opened up the laptop and cleaned the cable (just incase) and the same issue. Next i made a Bootable Windows 8 disk, and nothing happend it did not boot, i even click F10 to change the startup to CD.USB. ( so it would boot from the CD before the hard drive) But no this did not work either. Now next ive tried this "legacy mode" but when i booted it up again it keeps saying "Press esp key for start up menu" then goes to a black screen and reboots and does the same process again, as though it was stuck in a loop. I can change this back, but im back to where i started. Does anyone have any other suggestions on what i can do, i need my laptop very badly for my university, and have no cash to take it anywhere for them to fix.
