" 3TB HDD Corrupted to RAW adn Quick Formatted Suggestions for Data Recovery ", I have a Solid State DD as my system HDD and another 3TB SATA HDD as my archive or filing system, a couple of day ago I was moving about 50GB of data from system to my archive, so I left the PC working, when I returned I tough data move was done, but I didn't realize until a few hours later that my 3TB HDD had been corrupted and was in a RAW state... I tried different tools until I eventually came to EASEUS Data Recovery Wizard, and decided to try it out... however every time the scan finished, the recovery tool stopped working, and didn't let me review or recover any files, I tried a quick format in order to see if that was causing any problems but, so far, it hasn't been successful so I'm moving on to try other tools... My main concern are these: 1- There are many important files and information that I need recover. 2- Many tools I use list my HDD as a 746GB or so Storage device, don't know if it is the way the system handle the large storage HDD asi it is 3TB or if this could be actually a problem. 3- Since there is a huge volume of information trying to be recovered I do not have anywhere to store it once it is recovered, I need a tool that allows me to recover it and store it in the same HDD, I used a few tools in the past where I needed to store the recover data in another drive after recovery. 4- Just now while writing I though of this... Is there the possibility of having really bad sector that will give more problems in the future? if so what can I do? defragment or use an specific tool?
